Cher(e)s ami(e)s, chers compagnons du Dharma, vous qui avez croisé la route d'Eléa,

Bienvenue sur cette cagnotte qui espère financer la rédaction du livre de sa vie : "Dans les bras d'Avalokiteshvara"

Voilà un an qu'Eléa a continué son chemin sous une autre forme. Elle et moi (écrivain-biographe) avions commencé la rédaction de son histoire, si inspirante. Lama Zopa Rinpoché lui avait d'ailleurs demandé d'écrire sa biographie, indiquant combien cela pourrait aider ses semblables.

Depuis son départ, quelques amis pensent bénéfique et utile de terminer ce livre et le rendre public. Comme un hommage. Aussi parce que son combat face à la maladie, son engagement, et les derniers jours de sa vie méritent de laisser une trace, d'être partagés.

De sa jeunesse nomade et voyageuse, jusqu'à la découverte du bouddhisme auprès de Lama Yeshé, en passant par sa cohabitation avec la maladie et ses nombreux engagements pour le rayonnement du bouddhisme tibétain en France, jusqu'aux mots de Sa Sainteté le Dalaï Lama au moment de son décès... à partir d'entretiens réalisés auprès d'Eléa, complétés par des interviews de ses proches amis : le projet reprend vie.

Contribuez, vous aussi, à la naissance du livre retraçant la vie d'Eléa. Sa vie et même, au-delà.

Voici la répartition de coûts de ce projet, qui représente au moins 100h de travail pour la rédaction de la Biographie :

- Reprise des enregistrements, lecture et sélection des carnets d'Eléa, entretiens avec ses proches : 35h/2100 euros

- Rédaction de la biographie, base 80 pages : 60h /3600 euros

- Relecture et lissage du texte par un professionnel : 1000 euros

- Traduction en anglais par un professionnel : 1500 euros

TOTAL : 8200 euros

Dear friends, dear companions of the Dharma, you who crossed Elea’s path,

Welcome to this fundraising kitty which hopes to finance the writing of the book of her life : "In the care of Avalokiteshvara".

It has been a year since Elea continued her journey in another form. She and I (writer-biographer) had started writing her inspiring story. Lama Zopa Rinpoche had asked her to write her biography, indicating how much it could help her fellow human beings.

Since her passing, some friends think it would be beneficial and useful to finish this book and make it public as a tribute and also because her struggle with her illness, her commitment, and the last days of her life deserve to leave a trace to be shared.

From her nomadic and travelling youth to the discovery of Buddhism with Lama Yeshé, through her struggle against her illness and her many commitments to spreading Tibetan Buddhism in France, up to the words of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the time of her death... from interviews conducted with Eléa, completed by interviews with her close friends,  this project is coming life.

You too could contribute to the birth of a book retracing Elea's life and even beyond.

Here is the estimation of the costs of this project, which represents at least 100 hours of work for the writing of the biography:

- Replay of the recordings, reading and selection of Eléa's notebooks, interviews with her relatives: 35h/2100 euros

- Writing of the biography, based on 80 pages : 60h/3600 euros

- Editing by a professional proofreader : 1000 euros

- Translation into English by a professional translator : 1500 euros

TOTAL : 8200 euros
