Bring jess back home-For his health and his daughter

My name is Jess, and today, I write to you with a heavy heart but a glimmer of hope. My story is one of a dream turned into a nightmare, a promise that left me with nothing, and a daily struggle to survive far from those I love.  

Almost two years ago, I thought I had seized a golden opportunity: a trip to Australia, with a stopover in the Philippines. I was told it would be the start of a better life, with work and opportunities waiting for me. But once I arrived, everything fell apart. The promises vanished, and I found myself trapped in this country—with no money, no support, and no way to return home.  

Today, I live on the streets, in unbearable conditions. Every day is a battle to find food, shelter, or even a moment of safety. But what breaks my heart the most is knowing that my daughter, back in our home country, is alone.  

Three months ago, she lost her mother. My little girl, so brave, is now being cared for by kind neighbors, but I know she needs me. She needs her father. And here I am, stuck in this place, without a single peso to send her help, let alone buy a plane ticket home.  

I don’t want her to grow up thinking I abandoned her. I want to be there for her—to hold her in my arms, to give her a home and the security she deserves.  

To make matters worse, my health has severely declined. I suffer from Hidradenitis Suppurativa (Verneuil’s disease), a painful and debilitating condition, along with other untreated medical issues. Without money, I can’t even afford basic medication. Infections keep spreading, fevers come and go, and I feel my body growing weaker every day.  

I don’t want to die here, far from my daughter. I want to fight—for her, for a chance at a dignified life.  

Today, I’m reaching out to your kindness. Every donation, no matter how small, will help me:  

✔ Legalize my situation in the Philippines (paperwork, administrative fees)  

✔ Get urgent medical treatment for Hidradenitis Suppurativa and other infections  

✔ Buy a plane ticket hometo reunite with my daughter  

✔ Give her a fresh start, with a roof over her head and stability  

i’m not asking for the impossible—just a chance to rebuild what’s been broken. A chance to be a father to my child again. A chance to live, plain and simple.
